Independent Community Services (ICS) Program Manager (Rochester)
Ability Building Community is looking for a Program Manager to join our amazing team!
About the Job:
The ICS Program Manager is responsible for the development and management of the Individualized Employment Services and Individualized Home Supports programs; responsible for the overall supervision of staff employed in the programs; has the primary responsibility for assuring that the program meets accreditation, County, State, and Federal licensing standards.; ensures that quality services are provided to individuals served in a person-centered, efficient and cost-effective fashion, utilizing community resources and the least restrictive environment and techniques as possible. Responsibilities will also include providing direct services and maintaining a small caseload.
Schedule and pay:
Exempt, will require work beyond regular stated hours
Salary: Starting at $41,000/year plus benefits
Baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or Associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of work full time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of work full time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities AND four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed above. AND A minimum of three years of supervisory level experience in a program providing direct support services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
Must achieve certification in CPR, First Aid, Physical Intervention Alternatives (PIA), Trained Medication Administration (TMA). ABC will provide training as required by department.
Must have a valid Minnesota driver’s license, meet driving record standards set by Selective Insurance, be insurable and have personal insurance.
Be able to pass a Department of Human Services background study.
Direct Support Professional (Rochester, La Crescent, Caledonia)

About the Job:
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are responsible for supporting individuals in the areas of work, recreation/leisure, and independent living services. DSPs help keep individuals on track with their goals and provide necessary supports to ensure all have a worthwhile experience at ABC (either in center or out in the community) each day. DSPs are essential to making sure the ABC mission is being met, day in and day out. Every day is different, rewarding, and fun!
Schedule and pay:
No evenings and weekends! Daytime hours, Monday through Friday. The starting wage for a Direct Support Professional is between $13.00-$13.65/hour, plus a benefits package for full time (30 hours/week or more) employees.
