Ability Building Center strives to create a culture of inclusion and opportunity for people of diverse backgrounds, including, but not limited to, race, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, religion, gender, language and sexual orientation.

Although our staff and the people we serve are diverse, not all groups may believe they have equal access and support. ABC works to develop an environment that utilizes everyone’s skills and abilities and allows them to develop new ones. An inclusive environment must not be hindered by a less than inviting environment that affects decisions. Therefore, ABC’s efforts are designed to invite discussion, reflection, and change in order to encourage individuals with diverse backgrounds to fully participate in Ability Building Center’s programs and activities.
