Vocational Evaluation

SewingABC’s Vocational Evaluation program - "EVAL" for short - is designed to determine a person’s work abilities when his or her true potential is not fully known.

People who may benefit from Vocational Evaluation include:

  • Individuals who have difficulty maintaining employment due to emotional, social, physical, or cognitive barriers.
  • People who lack a solid work history
  • Those who have been absent from the work force for an extended period of time

Admission to the Vocational Evaluation Program requires a referral from a sponsoring agency or appropriate referral source. The majority of referrals come from Rehabilitation Services or through County Social Services.
