ABC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO RETIRE AFTER 36 YEARS WITH ORGANIZATION
ROCHESTER, MN - After more than 36 years employed by Ability Building Center (ABC), Steve Hill announced his retirement to the Board Tuesday evening, February 23rd. Hill began his employment at ABC in 1980, serving in the capacity of Assistant Director. In 2001, he was promoted to Executive Director and will serve in that capacity until April 30th of this year. According to Hill, “ABC is great organization, with a great mission. It has been a wonderful experience to see and be a part of the positive changes that have occurred for persons with disabilities over the past three decades.”
Kreg A. Kauffman, President of the ABC Board of Directors commented: “The Board of Directors thanks Steve Hill for his years of service to the stakeholders and mission of ABC. We will miss him.”
Thank you Steve for your dedicated service to ABC! A community reception is planned on Friday, April 29th from 1:00-4:00pm at ABC.
